Mid Level Property Condition Assessment Project Manager
Houston, Texas – Full-time

AEI Consultants is currently looking for a full-time Mid Level Property Condition Assessment Project Manager for our Houston, Texas location. The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering with 3-5 years of experience in conducting and writing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and other related services. Responsibilities include performing Property Condition Assessments of existing commercial properties. New Jersey: Environmental Project Manager
Northeast Region – Full-time

AEI Consultants is currently looking for a full-time Environmental Project Manager for our New Jersey region (Freehold and/or Jersey City). The successful candidate is a Geologist or Engineer with approximately 5 to 10 plus years of experience in performing and managing Environmental Subsurface Investigation and Remedial Investigation services, and will have demonstrated success implementing this work in the context of property redevelopment and the deadline-oriented Environmental Due Diligence markets. We seek a professional addition to our team to provide leadership and mentorship to staff, implement client engagements, and support AEI’s growth. The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Environmental due diligence investigations (Phase II assessments), site characterization, and Brownfields and development environmental consulting;
  • Soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations, including project design and estimating, field techniques, and reporting, with up-to-date knowledge of best practices and the regulatory environment; remediation planning and implementation a plus;
  • Leading a team of staff and professionals on a range of relevant project types;
  • Professional Licensure in New Jersey, New York, and/or Pennsylvania;
  • Practical experience with, and relevant knowledge of State and Federal environmental laws and regulations; experience and good rapport with regulatory agencies in the Northeastern U.S. required;
  • Strong network of vendors and independent industry professionals;

AEI Consultants is currently looking for a full time Senior Level Environmental Project Manager for our Jersey City and/or Freehold, New Jersey location(s). The ideal candidate is a Geologist or Environmental Scientist with 5 to 10 years of experience in performing and managing various aspects of Environmental Subsurface Investigation and Remediation services. We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and enthusiastic addition to a collaborative office environment to provide leadership and mentorship to staff, manage client engagements and support AEI’s growth. The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations, including project design and estimating, field techniques, and reporting

  • Environmental geology, hydrology, engineering, data management and modeling, corrective action feasibility evaluation and plan preparation

Senior Level Property Condition Assessment Manager
Northeast Region - Full Time

AEI Consultants is currently looking for a full time Senior Level Property Condition Assessment Manager for our Northeast region. The ideal candidate for this position is an architect or engineer with 10+ years of experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management fields, including 5+ years of experience in conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and other related services. A successful candidate should have understanding of ASTM, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac guidelines, and have good technical knowledge of building systems. A successful candidate should also be capable of performing refinance and pre-purchase assessments without direct supervision, as well as directing a team of professionals on larger properties.   • Responsible for new client origination: identify, qualify and generate new business opportunities within new accounts;
  • Create, maintain and update key prospect list and develop a customer database using Salesforce CRM software;
  • Serves as liaison between client needs and in-house technical capabilities, understanding the service offerings of the company, and facilitating success of the technical team through clear communication and well-written contracts;
  • Manage client accounts for new and existing sales opportunities;
  • Actively network and participate in trade and professional organizations (some night events);
  • Must have the ability to travel regionally and work independently with little supervision;
  • Conduct sales presentations via inside and outside selling techniques;
  • Close sales and meet monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan;
  • Exemplifies the AEI qualities of being positive, proactive and professional at all times; and
  • Perform as a team player and abide by company guidelines with respect to contract language and terms, as well as scopes of work, and profit margin goals/guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience, industry related experience a plus;
  • BS or BA degree;
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated to work independently, must be a hunter;
  • Proven ability to proactively develop client relationships utilizing cold call and outside selling technique;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with people at all levels;
  • Sales & goal oriented;
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn and understand environmental and engineering services industry as they relate to real estate deal flow;
  • Existing contacts in the Commercial Real Estate Industry and Financial Lending Institutions with a book of business is highly desirable; and
  • Ability to identify regional market trends.
